On December 5, the whole world celebrates Volunteer Day. It is a special holiday for those who do good at the call of their hearts. Despite all the challenges associated with the war and temporary relocation, the projects celebrated their helpers.
“Today is the International Volunteer Day! And we want to express our sincere gratitude to all the volunteers who took an active part in our events and helped with everything they could. We also want to highlight some volunteers who, in our opinion, deserve special, thanks! Congratulations to everyone involved in the holiday, and once again thank you for your work”—expressed their gratitude to the Emergency appeal project staff.
Experts from the project “Advocacy for Sustainable Social Services” also told about their event:
On the eve of Volunteer Day, Olena Belik, community facilitator of the Advocacy for Sustainable Social Services project, held an online event for the most active volunteers who help the project specialists to implement this project.
For most of them it was the first acquaintance, because someone in Kramatorsk, someone in Chervonohrad, the main thing that unites them is the desire to do good deeds together with Caritas Kramatorsk!
There was a cheerful and friendly, warm atmosphere, as if at a meeting of old friends. Thank you, dear volunteers, for giving us your precious time and energy. We can say without exaggeration that volunteers are the most valuable resource of the organization!
On this day we are happy to mention one more special people, a team of volunteers from the Humanitarian Center in Chervonohrad, Lviv region. They always carry, receive, pack, receive and deliver something to those who need it.
They are powerful partners of Caritas Kramatorsk, helping us to develop our activities in the new city. So we thank and wish not to lose inspiration to the whole team and personally to their leader Nadia Zemnytska, to continue to work every day to bring our victory closer together with everyone! Volunteers – you are the heroes of the rear!
