Joint work of the Center for Children and Youth and ERC “Svitanok” in Chervonograd, Lviv region

In our native Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, our foundation has been working with partners for years to develop inclusion in the community and actively supported parents and organizations working in this direction. Having opened a new office in Chervonohrad, Lviv region, our Center for Children and Youth unanimously decided to use the existing experience in working with children with special educational needs and mental disabilities.

The work would not have been possible without our new partner – the Educational and Rehabilitation Center “Svitanok. Mikhail Ivaniuk, the coordinator of the Center for Children and Youth, who acts within the framework of the project “Advocacy for Sustainable Social Services”, signed a memorandum of cooperation with Nina Stashchak, the director of the institution. Also, present were Tatiana Yershova, family psychologist of the project, Aleksandra Nebozhuk, deputy director for methodological work of the NRC, as well as Volodymyr Lobai, director of the Chervonohrad City Center for Social Services.

As a result of the agreement, the Center for Children and Youth specialists, represented by social pedagogue Natalia Shevchenko and family psychologist Tatiana Ershova, conduct regular classes with the wards of the center. In their work, they use methods of art therapy, kinesiologies exercises, etc.

Specialists also use special rehabilitation equipment, which our volunteers once developed in the Creative Workshop for working with wood “DrevoDom”

The work is only gaining momentum, and we are confident that soon we will be able to share even more significant results of this cooperation and the success of our young wards.
